General Estate Policy on Neighbouring Trees
Inquiries are made periodically about trees on estate land that adjoin neighbouring properties, and how these are to be dealt with. This note is intended to set out how these inquiries will usually be viewed.
The first priority will be to identify if the tree or trees being queried are estate trees. If necessary, we will inspect and give our opinion on ownership. In an initial contact it will be helpful if any inquirer sends his or her Land Registry plan, showing the location of any tree being queried.
It is hoped the above sets out a clear summary of estate policy, based on long experience of estate trees. Neighbourly contact on matters of concern on adjoining trees is always recommended.

Lettings
Wotton Estate includes a number of houses and cottages, some of which occasionally become available for renting on new tenancies. Inevitably, many enquiries are made to the owners, their employees, and Batcheller Monkhouse as Agents, however these are usually greatly in excess of the small number of properties available to let at any particular time.
Wotton Estate properties available to let on the open market are usually advertised on the following page, which can include other properties managed from Batcheller Monkhouse's Pulborough office:-
You are welcome to complete and submit the Wotton Estate Enquiry Form (click here) for review and consideration at any time. All prospective tenants are asked to complete it for consideration by the agent and landlord. Please submit the completed form or any other letting enquiries to lettings@wottonestate.co.uk where they will be received by Batcheller Monkhouse.
You may view a Specimen Tenancy Agreement (click here).
